Teacher arrested for soliciting students for sex on Instagram

Middle school teacher’s aide, Quinton Bradford, 24, of Tampa, was arrested Monday after Hillsborough County detectives say he admitted he solicited explicit photos and requested sexual encounters from two 13-year-old students over the last several weeks.

“I’m mad as hell. Sorry. This is ridiculous. When will this type of stuff stop?” said parent Nicole Collins, who said her son has had problems with Bradford in the past.

Jail records indicate that Bradford works as a paraprofessional at Buchanan Middle School on Bearss Avenue. That’s where he was arrested Monday.

Bradford asked to meet the victim in person "so he could rub on her buttocks," the affidavit reads. He also asked the victim to meet up with him on the weekend so they could engage in sexual intercourse.

During the same period of time, Bradford sent a direct message on Instagram to a second student, admiring her beauty. Deputies say that Bradford asked the second victim for nude photographs on three different occasions.

According to the criminal report, Bradford was also sending direct messages to a second victim during that time period and asked for nude pictures three times.
